San Gabriel Landscaping
The property sits at the foothills of the San Gabriel Mountains. The homeowner wanted a rustic feel to the garden that would tie in the beautiful mountain surroundings.
Woodland Hills Pond
A large recreational lake was created as the centerpiece of the property, used for boating, swimming, and fishing, with an island and meditation hut at its center for a backyard "staycation."

An unused field was turned into an oasis with a small lake and gazebo. The once-vacant field is now the center for events like weddings and parties.

An unused swimming pool was removed to create more yard space; the soil dug from the new koi pond was used to fill it in. The homeowners love to entertain and now have plenty of room for backyard parties.

A 1-day makeover: an unused fountain was replaced with a pondless waterfall, built as a surprise for the homeowner's wife and completed start to finish in a single day.
Koi Pond in Thousand Oaks
The homeowner wanted an Italian villa feel with flowing water and Mediterranean landscaping. The stocked koi pond fits perfectly between the driveway and entryway.
Outdoor Living Area in Encino
Inspired by trips to Mexico, the homeowners wanted a resort feel for indoor/outdoor living. The entire patio was demolished and rebuilt with flagstone, decomposed granite, a fire pit, gazebo, and outdoor lighting.

No two properties on this page started from the same place, and no two finished the same way. A drained koi pond in Thousand Oaks called for a full rebuild, a barren hillside in Burbank needed nothing but the right waterfall to come alive, and an unused pool in Sherman Oaks became the foundation for something entirely new. What ties these projects together isn't a single look or a fixed template; it's a design and construction process built around what each yard, climate, and family actually needed. Some of these transformations took weeks of excavation and planning, and one was finished start to finish in a single day.
